This game was the best in the franchise hands down. Played 8900 hours and maxed 15 characters hahah, from release to closure in 2014. best time for battlefield.

I remember watching this exact video when I was a kid in Elementary School, that was 15 years ago, in 2007. God how time flies, I was hooked to this game like an addict, played it every day after school. The Titans, the maps, the community, every one and everything was so cool. This game didn't deserve to be ended like it was...
What happened?
@@Worjestershire 2014 happened. I played this game on-and-off during my High School years 2011-2015, even then for nostalgia. Then when I tried to play it again late 2014 or early 2015 I found out that GameSpy was shut down and practically all old EA games with it. It was a blow to my heart, I still remember thinking "why". I didn't know the last time I played this game in 2013 would truly be my last.
I remember i was too poor back then to get a good pc to run this game so I never got to play it except seeing gamespot trailers

I heard some where that its actually a Prequel to this as 2042 is connected to BF4. Basically the timeline goes like this 2020= PAC (an Alliance between China, Russia, Japan and a number of other "Asian" countries) is established possibly covertly. 2042= Climate change worsens causing the desolution of the EU (due to Germany's collapse in the 2030s) and a war between the US and Russia. 2100s= EU reestablished US and Australia joins with the US being its major backer for a number of decades, PAC becomes more advanced than the EU, US stagnates 2142= the "Cold War "in Africa due to severe Climate change causing an Ice age.
Who else is still waiting on 2143? And who among you was sad to see 2042 before it?
